Nice-Pak Products, Inc. (NP) is the global developer, manufacturer, and marketer of pre-moistened wipes for the consumer market. It specializes in personal care, hygiene, household cleaning, and disinfection products. This is a 10-week Paid Summer Internship program.
POSITION PURPOSE: The Project / Process Engineering Intern will support the team in reaching the business's established goals and objectives. During the program, an essential project will be completed, and new methodologies developed will be adopted by the organization. The Internship program is designed to have a direct business impact, drive bottom-line health, and support top-line growth.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: The Project / Process Engineering Intern will learn and contribute to the engineering, troubleshooting, maintenance, technical investigations, and processes used in the state-of-the-art manufacturing and packaging of wet wipe products
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Basic understanding of manufacturing, maintenance, production systems, engineering analysis, mechanical systems, design tools, processes, automation, robotics,
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Prior exposure to an industrial manufacturing, warehousing, automated, robotics, engineering analysis and research projects helpful but not required

EDUCATION: Junior or Senior year student with a focus on mechanical, industrial, chemical, or electrical engineering program.

- responsible for handling technical aspects of assigned projects including developing methods that enable efficient production, better quality and improve safety. Automation and robotics exposure.

- analyze production processes, investigate technical issues, design (AutoCAD) layouts, troubleshoot / problem-solving, able to research engineering options, identify vendor solutions, and present findings PROJECT PRESENTATION:
