K-5 Tutor

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. We are a fast growing tutoring company that hired experience teachers to contract to tutor on their schedule. We work hard to get teachers quality clients, and match them based on your availability.

We have flexible scheduling, but experience is required. We ask our team to also be available about 2 afternoons/ evenings a week.

Responsibilities

• Manage Parent communication, including scheduling and confirming location.
• Report Back hours from sessions.
• Plan effectively for each session with the targeted goal of student growth.
• Support students in their hw or provide suppplment materials to support their growth and learning.
• Integrate learning technology into lessons to enhance student engagement.
• Provide tutoring and additional support to students as needed.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding student performance and needs.

Experience

• Proven experience in classroom management and lesson planning is essential.
• Knowledable of school standards and testing.
• Previous experience working with preschool or elementary-aged children is preferred.
• Familiarity with curriculum development and educational standards is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Experience utilizing learning technology in the classroom is beneficial.
• A background in tutoring or providing individualized support to students will be advantageous.
