Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Technical Assistant to support our documentation and process standardization efforts as we update our Quality Assurance Program and provide essential support in various administrative and technical tasks, ensuring smooth operations within the office. This role requires strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Windows file management, as well as the ability to read blueprints and interpret technical specifications to ensure documentation accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Locate, organize, and standardize technical documents physically and electronically.
- Format, edit, and proofread documents according to strict guidelines.
- Cross-reference technical documents with engineering blueprints and specifications.
- Use Adobe Acrobat for PDF editing, annotations, and document conversions.
- Manage version control, track progress, and maintain structured files using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Windows file management.
- Collaborate with leadership, engineers, and consultants to ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
- Maintain task lists, follow up on outstanding documents, and ensure project deadlines are met.
- Assist with daily office operations, including clerical tasks and maintaining organized records.
- Assist with other technical and administrative projects.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail – must catch inconsistencies, errors, and formatting issues.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
- Common sense & problem-solving ability – able to spot missing info and proactively seek solutions.
- Comfortable in an unstructured environment – able to create organization where needed.
- Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat skills.
- Excellent organizational and project-tracking abilities.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or technical industries is a plus but not required.
