POSITION / TITLE : Data Analytics Manager
LOCATION : Johns Creek, GA
DEPARTMENT : Sales
REPORTS TO : Director, Sales Optimization and Planning
POSITION SUMMARY : The Data Analytics Manager position is responsible for leading initiatives across business functions to develop one data set of truth. The goal is accurate and complete data in our systems capable of producing analytical reports and insights. The work will require collaborating with both the business functions and IT department independently and occasionally serving as a liaison between the two groups. Additionally, the role will directly support sales planning needs, including forecasting, trend analysis, etc.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Evaluate internal systems and data to propose improvements and implement measures to ensure success for our growing team
- Identify sources and causes of incomplete and inaccurate data sets
- Partner with business functions to develop, establish and implement processes and procedures to ensure data accuracy and completeness entering the systems
- Collaborate with team members of other departments consistently to drive efficiencies and data development
- Gathering data from various sources (CRM, marketing platforms, ERP etc.) and performing in-depth analysis to identify key trends, patterns, and correlations
- Propose system changes to facilitate data accuracy and completeness
- Assist in utilizing the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy, and utilizing its capabilities to analyze sales performance and identify opportunities
- Assist / Drive data set preparation, cleansing, accuracy, utilization and adoption
- Partner with IT to develop efficient and effective data flow processes
- Consolidate and generate useful automated reporting of sales data
- Keeping abreast of new data analytics tools and technologies to enhance the effectiveness of sales data analysis
- Contributing to the development of sales plans and objectives
