POSITION / TITLE : National Architectural Specifications Manager
DEPARTMENT : Business Development

REPORTS TO : Director, Business Development
POSITION SUMMARY : The National Architectural Specification Manager at Nichiha USA will be responsible for driving the specification and adoption of Nichiha’s cladding solutions across the architectural community at a national level specifically in the Healthcare and Education segments. This position requires close collaboration with architects, specifiers, and design professionals to promote Nichiha’s innovative offerings in commercial and residential construction projects nationwide.
The role is crucial for maintaining long-term relationships and driving specifications of Nichiha products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture or a related field and a deep understanding of the building materials industry.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
- A strategic leader responsible for driving specifications and fostering relationships with national firms, school boards and healthcare's group purchasing organizations (GPOs) to position NUSA as a trusted partner.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive national strategy for promoting Nichiha products to the architectural and design community, ensuring specification in high-profile projects.
- Build, manage, and nurture relationships with leading architectural firms, offering technical expertise on how Nichiha solutions fit within building design and code requirements.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition from product specification to project sales, providing technical and market insights to assist in closing deals.
- Oversee the entire specification process, from initial engagement through to completion, ensuring that Nichiha products remain specified throughout the design and construction phases.
- Provide insights on market trends, architectural innovations, and product preferences to influence Nichiha’s product development and marketing strategies.
- Ensure all specified products meet or exceed relevant building codes, environmental standards, and certifications, positioning Nichiha as a leader in sustainable design.
- Up to 50% travel required
