What are the responsibilities and job description for the Offline Cutting Operator Plant 1 - C Shift position at Nichiha USA, Inc?
SAFETY:
- Understand and follow all safety procedures
- Current on all safety training
- Wears all required PPE when necessary (steel toe boots, safety glasses, earplugs)
- Understand Lock Out Tag Out procedures for assigned areas.
- Complete General Plant Safety Training within the first 8 weeks.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Examine, measure, and weigh materials or products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring devices such as rulers, micrometers, or scales.
- Effectively load the correct product onto the line and record the product on the loading sheet.
- Inspect the boards for defects and stack them neatly on the correct pallet.
- Record all made products, rejects, and downtime on correct paperwork.
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations for the area
- Understand and perform correctly all necessary quality checks to ensure a properly cut trim board.
- Keep all areas clean and free from debris by following standard work daily cleaning sheets.
EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:
- Trim Saw
- Biesse Saw
- Soffit Press
- Pac-tool
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift up to 80lbs and push-pull up to 75 pounds.
- Must be able to work long periods while continuously standing, twisting, bending, reaching, and stooping
- Must be able to safely walk and work around machinery.
- Must be able to visually identify quality defects and concerns with the product line.
