SUMMARY :

The primary responsibilities of the Process Control Auditor is to ensure adherence to established processes and standards within the manufacturing environment. The role involves auditing manufacturing processes, identifying root causes for non-standard or compliant actions and leading efforts to standardize processes and prevent non-compliant actions.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

Process Auditing & Monitoring :

  • Conduct regular audits of manufacturing operations and processes to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, internal policies and processes.
  • Review production procedures to verify adherence to quality and process control standards.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing findings, risks, and recommended corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of audit activities, findings, and follow-up actions.
  • Root Cause Analysis

  • Identify deviations or non-conformities in processes or procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Compliance & Training

  • Ensure that manufacturing practices comply with safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
  • Provide training to staff on process control standards, audit procedures, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Continuous Improvement

  • Support initiatives aimed at process optimization, waste reduction, and efficiency improvements.
  • Recommend enhancements to process control systems and audit methodologies.
  • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Familiarity with industrial manufacturing and safety process is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with personnel at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks efficiently, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in performing tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to assist with various tasks as needed.
  • EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in auditing or related field is a plus.
  • Experience in auditing, system analysis, process control, or quality systems is a plus.
  • Bachelors Degree in manufacturing or industrial engineering is preferred.
  • Three plus years experience in a continuous improvement role in manufacturing is preferred.
  • SAFETY :

  • Understand and follow all safety procedures
  • o Current on all safety trainings

    o Wears all required PPE when necessary (steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear plugs)

  • Understand Lock Out Tag Out procedures for assigned areas.
  • Perform duties according to OSHA guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Complete General Plant Safety Training within the first 8 weeks.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

  • Must be able to lift at least 30lbs and to push-pull up to 75lbs.
  • Must be able to work long periods while continuously standing, twisting, bending, reaching, and stooping.
  • Must be able to go up and down steps and ladders multiple times a day.
  • Must be able to work environment which is dusty and noisy.
  • Must be able to work in plant environment with extreme seasonal temperatures.
