Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize pick lists and handheld devices to locate and pick items from designated locations within the warehouse.
- Ensure accuracy in selecting the correct quantity and type of items for each order.
- Verify product information and quality before packaging for shipment.
- Pack items securely, using appropriate packaging materials and techniques to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information, including customer addresses and tracking numbers.
- Organize picked orders for efficient staging and loading onto delivery trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with other warehouse team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing orders.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math skills for counting and verifying quantities.
