What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cleaner position at Nichiha?
SAFETY:
- Understand and follow all safety procedures
- Current on all safety training
- Wears all required PPE when necessary (steel toe boots, safety glasses, earplugs)
- Understand Lock Out Tag Out procedures for assigned areas.
- Complete General Plant Safety Training within the first 8 weeks.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Able to train on how to operate a Bobcat and a Dingo
- Understand what is acceptable and unacceptable items
- Able to learn how to operator a diaphragm pump
EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:
- Forklift
- Bobcat
- Dingo
- Jack Hammer
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time while operating a shovel or jackhammer.
