We are looking for a reliable Inventory Control/QA Supervisor to ensure that all external and internal requirements are met before our product reaches our customers. You will be responsible for inspecting procedures and outputs and identifying mistakes or non-conformity issues. In addition, you will also monitor and report on the company’s inventory.
Your job is important since the efficient handling of the company’s products and supplies is critical for the attainment of business goals.
An excellent Inventory Control/QA Supervisor a high attention to product detail, solid experience in quality control with excellent attention inventory detail and record-keeping abilities. The ideal candidate is a reliable and competent professional whose approval will be necessary for the continuation of a business life cycle.

Pay: $60,000- $70,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues
- Monitor all operations that affect quality of all SKU’s (cases)
- Oversee and guide department coordinators within IC/QA, slotting and driver check-in.
- Coordinate proper Team Member responsibility coverage during unscheduled/scheduled time off.
- Appraise customers’ requirements and make sure they are satisfied.
- Ensure that IC/QA team members report all products that do not meet quality assurance standards as identify by our customers.
- Review current standards and policies and make recommendations for improvement
- Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation
- Ensure all legal standards are met, including SQF audit standards
- Communicate with external quality assurance officers during on-site inspections
- Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures
- Inspect product levels and identify shortages
- Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers
- Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory
- Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory
- Coordinate with the Purchasing department to place orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus
- Collaborate with the day warehouse manager, supervisor, staff and other team members to ensure business goals are met, regardless of the project.
- Report to the Purchasing department on stock levels, issues etc.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a quality assurance/inventory control supervisor or relevant role
- Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
- HACCP certification preferred
- SQF audit knowledge preferred
- Must have strong dependability with a history of good attendance.
- Schedule Sunday – Friday (days off TBD based on department scheduling) 5:00 AM-1:30 PM
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Outstanding communication skills
- Great attention to detail and a results driven approach
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Knowledge working within Manhattan WMS a plus
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
