Key Responsibilities:
Tax Preparation:
• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.
• Assist in the preparation of tax projections and estimates.
Tax Planning & Advisory:
• Support senior staff in providing tax planning strategies and advice to clients.
• Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Client Interaction:
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and documents.
• Address client inquiries and provide clear and concise responses.
Compliance & Documentation:
• Maintain accurate and organized client files and records.
• Ensure compliance with all tax-related regulations and requirements.
Collaboration:
• Work closely with senior tax accountants and partners to deliver high-quality service.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to develop tax knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Master’s Degree in Accounting or CPA eligibility required.
• CPA or progress towards CPA certification preferred.
Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
