Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Orchestral Strings Luthier at Penrose Strings by Nick Rail Music in Camarillo, CA. The Luthier will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of orchestral string instruments and bows ranging from beginning quality up to high-end professional and vintage instruments. Day-to-day tasks include setups, repairs, and restoration to ensure the highest quality of instruments for customers.
Qualifications
- 5 years experience repairing orchestral string instruments and bows
- Attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Previous experience in a music store or repair shop is a plus
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be fluent in English
- Must be willing to relocate to Camarillo, CA
Compensation and Benefits
- Based on experience $30-45/hour

Schedule:
Monday through Friday 10:00am - 6:00pm
