Irrigation Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with hands-on experience using various tools and equipment. This role is essential for ensuring that our clients' gardens and landscapes are properly irrigated and maintained, contributing to the overall health and beauty of their outdoor spaces.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient water distribution.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for digging, building, and maintaining irrigation setups.
• Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues such as leaks or blockages.
• Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions into overall garden care.
• Provide recommendations for landscape improvements based on mechanical knowledge of irrigation systems.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during service calls.

Experience

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or lawn care is preferred.
• Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in irrigation installation and repair.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
• A background in gardening or horticulture can be beneficial for understanding plant needs related to irrigation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
