Responsibilities
- Perform auto body repairs, including frame straightening, panel replacement, and dent removal.
- Utilize power tools and equipment for cutting, welding, and assembling parts.
- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed.
- Execute airless paint spraying techniques for finishing touches on repaired surfaces.
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely completion of repair jobs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Handle heavy lifting as required during the repair process, ensuring proper techniques are used.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in auto body repair technology.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role in automotive repair.
- Proficiency in using various power tools and equipment related to auto body work.
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to assemble and disassemble vehicle components.
- Experience with welding and soldering techniques is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Familiarity with dealership standards and practices is a plus.
