Overview
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Movers to join our team. As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient moving process for our clients. This position requires physical stamina, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members. You will be responsible for handling various moving tasks, including loading and unloading items, driving vehicles, and ensuring the safety of all belongings during transit.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload furniture and other items with care to prevent damage.
- Operate moving trucks or vans, ensuring safe transportation of goods.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during the moving process.
- Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts for efficient handling of heavy items.
- Assist in packing and unpacking items as needed.
- Navigate manual transmission vehicles when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the moving vehicle and work area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of moves.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or moving environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds or more) safely and efficiently.
- Strong customer service skills are essential for interacting with clients positively.
