Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of airframe and powerplant systems to identify wear, damage, or mechanical issues.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on various types of aircraft, including troubleshooting and repairing systems such as engines, electrical, hydraulic, and fuel.
- Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to execute repairs and modifications.
- Document all maintenance actions, reviews, and compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and engineering staff to resolve complex technical issues and ensure optimal aircraft performance.
- Maintain tools and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior mechanics or apprentices as necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with clients regarding maintenance status and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
- Proven experience as an A&P Mechanic, with a strong background in aircraft maintenance and repair.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and aviation-specific software.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
