Job Requirements:
- Avionics Experience on F-16 Aircraft.
- A minimum of Level 5 or equivalent experience of direct Avionics Maintenance experience on F-16 aircraft.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be a U.S Citizen.
Certifications & Licenses: FAA Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) license/certification required. Exceptions can be made if able to obtain A&P within 180 days of hire.

Job Details:
F-16 Avionics Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying the complex electronic systems (avionics) on an F-16 fighter jet, including radar, navigation, communication systems, weapons control, and flight control systems, ensuring the aircraft's airworthiness by performing inspections, calibrations, and repairs using specialized tools and technical documentation; essentially keeping the aircraft's electronic systems operational and ready for flight.
- Modifies, upgrades, inspects, tests, adjusts, and repairs aircraft avionic systems, such as aircraft-installed radar, radio, navigation, and power systems using hand tools and test equipment
- Inspects components of avionic systems and equipment for defects, such as loose connections and frayed wire, and for accuracy of assembly and installation
- Tests avionic systems under simulated or actual operating conditions to determine performance and airworthiness, using test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, digital meters and counters, and circuit analyzers
- Using hand tools, adjusts, repairs, and/or replaces defective components based on analysis of test results, following blueprints, schematics, handbooks, and other technical documents
- When required, calibrates installed, modified, or repaired systems and/or equipment to prescribed specifications
- When required, operates ground servicing equipment to operationally test, inspect, and verify functionality and airworthiness of avionic and other electrical systems
- When required, assist in fabricating wiring harnesses
- Must effectively interact with program and customer representatives as well as on-site business or military representatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
