Description
Manage medical practice operations in alignment with Nicklaus Children's Pediatric Specialists and standardized operating models. Oversees clinical and non-clinical operations to ensure efficient and effective performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various departments to maximize revenue, improve practice performance, and analyze variances.
- Implement process improvements to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and promote cost containment.
- Lead, coach, and evaluate employees on job performance, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain quality standards, fiscal documents, and spreadsheets for budget requirements.
- Ensure compliance with mandates, licenses, and permit renewals, as well as Environment of Care rounding participation.
- Recruit, orient, and develop direct reports, providing training and coaching to support high-performance teams.
- Oversee work orders, processes, and special events, resolving patient complaints and related issues.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-4 years of supervisory experience in a medical practice setting or 5 years of clerical office experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with healthcare payors, financial systems, and health care services, particularly pediatric medicine.
- Able to react effectively to unplanned circumstances, relate cooperatively with customers and staff, and understand medical practice operations and regulations.
