Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Applies knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions and care.
- Maintains ongoing professional education through reading journals, CME credits, and conferences.
- Develops and delivers regular training sessions for staff and residents.
- Covers test results, lab studies, and follow-up phone calls.
- Provides direct clinical services, including history and physical examinations, interpreting patient data, developing treatment plans, and ordering diagnostic procedures.
- Makes suggestions for department improvement.
- PARTicipates in Performance Improvement, Research, and Publishing initiatives.
- Contributes to the teaching and mentoring of medical students and residents.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited medical school.
- Current state medical license in good standing with the medical board.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
