Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of concrete work and construction, demonstrating a strong work ethic and attention to detail. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in varying weather conditions while following safety protocols.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of job sites for concrete pouring, including site cleanup and setup.
- Operate concrete pumping equipment and assist with the pouring and finishing of concrete.
- Perform tile laying, frame carpentry, plastering, masonry, and metal stud framing as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate execution of project specifications.
- Renovate existing structures by removing old materials and preparing surfaces for new installations.
- Handle heavy lifting tasks associated with moving materials and equipment on-site.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in concrete labor or related construction fields is preferred.
- Skills in concrete pumping, tile laying, frame carpentry, plastering, masonry, metal stud framing, and renovation are highly desirable.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Strong physical stamina with the capability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds).
- Familiarity with safety protocols in construction environments.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to completing tasks on time.
