Copywriter

Job Overview:
Nicolet Law is seeking a full-time Copywriter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating well-researched, informative, and engaging content across our website, blog, and other editorial platforms. Your work will help educate potential clients, establish the firm’s authority, and improve online visibility. This role requires a detail-oriented writer with a strong understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to translate complex legal concepts into accessible content for a general audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Write, edit, and optimize website pages, blog articles, legal guides, and landing pages that drive engagement and conversions.
• SEO Optimization: Conduct keyword research and implement best SEO practices to enhance organic traffic and search rankings.
• Brand Messaging: Develop compelling, legally accurate content that reflects the firm’s expertise while remaining approachable and informative.
• Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys and the marketing team to align content with business objectives and brand voice.
• Technical SEO Support: Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headers, and internal linking strategies to improve search performance.
• Industry Research: Stay informed on SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and content marketing best practices to keep our content strategy competitive.
• Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure all content adheres to ethical guidelines and legal industry standards.
• Proofreading & Editing: Review all written materials for clarity, accuracy, and consistency before publication.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in professional copywriting, preferably in legal, marketing, or editorial roles.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
• SEO knowledge and experience optimizing content for search engines.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Legal industry experience is a plus but not required.

Pay Range: The reflected pay range is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience, qualifications, achievements, and/or skill level.

Schedule: 8 hour shift, Day shift, Monday to Friday 8 am – 5 pm CST.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
