Nidec Mobility America Corporation(NMOA) is looking for an energetic and focused Account Manager(Ford) within our Hybrid/Remote work environment (Novi, MI).
NMOA (St. Charles, IL), headquarters our family of Companies with facilities in the USA, Canada, Germany and Mexico (with our Sales Team based in Detroit Metro).
As a world leader in sensing and control technology, we control the most discrete functions within an automobile – from seat switches, power window switches, and instrument panel controls, towards complex user interfaces. NMOA is directly involved with automotive OEM’s and holds a leadership position within Nidec for product development with global vehicle makers.
Account Manager (Ford)
Objective
Nidec Mobility’s Account Manager (Ford) is the main contact for communication between Nidec Mobility and key customer accounts. The Account Manager's primary responsibility is to secure new business while maintaining and expanding current business with the key customer accounts.
Essential Responsibilities
- Seek and secure new business opportunities with key customer accounts
- Maintain and expand existing business with customer accounts
- Liaison between customer demands and plant demands
- Create / Solidify business relationships with the principal key accounts that will lead them to work with Nidec on future programs
- Resolve all issues to the complete satisfaction of the customer
- Create a database of customer knowledge that will help Nidec build a sales strategy to meet current and future customer needs
- Work with the Sales Administrator to manage sales forecasts and resolve commercial issues with key customer accounts
Experience: 5 years in Automotive Industry Account Management
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Business preferred)
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Working expertise supporting automotive electromechanical component sales
- Technical aptitude
- Mathematical aptitude
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of all business disciplines.
- Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (Intermediate to Advanced).
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Solid interdepartmental collaboration skills
- Good judgment for effectively planning / accomplishing the Sales Departments objectives / goals
- High sense of accountability, attention to detail and Customer focus.
- Strong technical written / verbal communication skills.
- Solid time / resource manager.
- Analytic thinker/ Problem solver.
