CNC Machinist -
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in RIDC Park, Nidec Vamco Corporation is a fast growing manufacturer, and a global leader in design of high speed automation equipment for the metal stamping industry.
Position Summary:
The CNC Machinist sets up and operates conventional, and CNC machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic parts.
Essential Functions:
- Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements
- Set-up, operate, edit and program CNC machines and machining centers
- Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, and grinders
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED and/or vocational-technical school
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
