Employee must perform and document detailed analysis on motors that have been sidetracked for any quality reason including face run out, shaft run out, grounds and vibration issues. Perform duties that enhance all aspects of the Assembly department to ensure divisional and plant objectives are met. This will include process improvements, testing and assembly.Job DescriptionPRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Assemble / disassemble motors to meet customer and engineering specificationsPerform detailed measurements from engineering instructions and / or QA specificationsMake conversions and modifications to motors in accordance to engineering specificationsLiaison between engineering department and quality assuranceMonitor manufacturing processes and ensure correct tooling and instructions are available and work with manufacturing and industrial engineering on process improvementsComply with company quality and safety guidelinesMaintain a clean and orderly work areaPerform other duties as assigned and work overtime when neededCOMPETENCIES : Read and follow instructionsBasic computer skillsAbility to work independentlyDependability SKILLS & KNOWLEDGEAbility to drive forkliftAbility to use inspection tools, mic's, calipers, scalesAbility to operate CSI and Yokogawa testing equipmentQUALIFICATIONS : Minimum Qualifications : High School diploma or GEDPreferred Qualifications : Knowledge of approved repair processes Ability to work in a Team oriented settingGood Communication skills - Verbal & WrittenPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
