We are seeking an experienced Used Vehicle Buyer to join our dynamic dealer group, enhancing pre-owned inventory acquisition across our 10 locations! As a subject matter expert in the retail automotive industry, the successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing supplemental pre-owned inventory to meet the needs of our stores, ensuring a robust and profitable used vehicle pipeline, while collaborating with store leadership. This role requires a strategic balance of acquiring high-quality vehicles, overseeing their reconditioning to company standards, and maintaining healthy front-end margins while maximizing wholesale profit opportunities.

Job-Specific Duties
- Identify, evaluate, and purchase pre-owned vehicles from auctions, trade-ins, private sellers, and other sources to supplement inventory across 10 dealership locations.
- Leverage expertise in the retail automotive market to ensure acquired vehicles align with customer demand and dealership sales goals.
- Collaborate with reconditioning teams to ensure all vehicles meet company quality standards prior to retail sale.
- Maintain consistent front-end gross margins by negotiating competitive purchase prices and optimizing inventory turnover.
- Enhance wholesale profitability by strategically managing trade-ins and aged units.
- Monitor market trends, pricing data, and competitor activity to inform purchasing decisions.
- Work closely with store managers and inventory teams to align stock with location-specific needs and sales targets.
