What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis position at Nielsen Associates?
Our client, a leading luxury goods company in Nassau County, NY, is expanding its Financial Planning & Analysis function and is seeking a talented Director of FP&A to join their team. This pivotal role involves partnering with the commercial team to drive revenue forecasting, expense management, strategic planning, and decision support. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, the Director will work closely with senior leaders, including the CFO and SVP of Sales, to build and improve the FP&A function. After an initial 3 months in the office full-time, the role will transition to a hybrid model (3 days on-site).
The ideal candidate will have strong FP&A experience, in a manufacturing and / or distribution environment, who possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. A Bachelor's degree is required, with advanced Excel skills being a must. This role offers a competitive base salary of $165-175K plus bonus.
