Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually appealing content for campaigns, including social media posts, email newsletters, website assets, and print materials.
- Assist in developing and maintaining brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all visual communications.
- Design promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, and advertisements tailored to marketing objectives.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions for creative marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Support the production of digital and print assets, ensuring they are optimized for various platforms and mediums.
- Manage project timelines and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Stay updated on design trends and marketing best practices to bring fresh ideas to the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years' experience in producing high-quality designs in a professional environment.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- A portfolio showcasing strong design skills, with an emphasis on marketing materials.
- Demonstrated ability to research and understand products, target audiences, and market trends, translating insights into effective design and compelling content creation.
- Basic understanding of marketing concepts, including branding, audience targeting, and campaign strategy.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to take direction and incorporate feedback effectively.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
- Experience with video editing or motion graphics.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and content creation.
- Familiarity with basic web design principles or tools like Canva, Figma, or WordPress.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, however, may manage external resources in the future.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Climate-controlled indoor manufacturing plant offices. May be required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, climb or balance. Must be able to drag, lift and/or move up to 40 pounds (luggage).
Hours of Work/ Work location
Monday to Friday. Some flexibility to set 40-hour schedule around core hours of 10am-4pm with collaboration in the marketing team.
Travel / Work Location
Hybrid work environment that consists of remote work and regular need to be in the office (minimum 1 – 2x per week). NK’s facilities are located in Boothwyn, PA. Travel is required for trade shows and marketing events.
Training
Most training is on-the-job but formal education and training may be provided where appropriate.
Pay Rate
This is a salaried position. Pay rate commensurate with qualifications and experience as well as company size. Annual bonus based on company and individual performance ranges averages 2% to 4% of compensation.
