Second Shift Warehouse Team Lead

Job Summary: Schedule workload for warehouse department and ensure associates are meeting their specified tasks per the warehouse responsibility listing and housekeeping duties.

Essential Functions:

· Maintenance of locations on all inventory

· Assists with tasks as required by the other Logistics departments

· Complete time cards and weekly reports as required by Warehouse Supervisor

· Behave in a positive manner that enhances the success of the company

· Assists in inventory processes, including, but not limited to physical inventory and cycle counting

· Assists in disposal of surplus and obsolete inventory

· Ensure all orders (including backorder and deviations) that have available inventory are pulled timely and accurately with communication to the Scanning and Re-Packaging Team Leaders

· Assists in analysis of physical inventory and cycle count variances

· Must be able to fill in as a backup as needed for all associates within department

· Help establish locations for inventory on all new product

· Ability to train all associates on all warehouse functions

· Assists in system and process enhancements

· Assists in audit system to ensure data input is accurate and timely

· Ensure that the documented TS16949 quality system is followed relating to the shipping function

· Train Associates on the documented quality system relating to the Warehouse Department

• All duties assigned to the Warehouse staff must be completed in conjunction with the Re-Packaging and Scanning Team Leaders to ensure 100 % customer satisfaction
• All other duties assigned

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience/Skills/Requirements:

· Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience

· Minimum of one year experience in Warehouse, Shipping and Receiving

· Forklift certified. (Internal training class)

· Excellent attendance

· Good computer skills

· Good math skills

· Ability to schedule and prioritize workload for Shipping Department

· Work flexible hours and overtime as needed

· Must be able to travel, sometimes overnight. Short notice if applicable

Physical/Ergonomic Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 60 lbs.

Must be able to work on feet for extended periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
