What are the responsibilities and job description for the MAINTENANCE - ADMINISTRATIVE_ASSISTANT_I position at nifco?
Job Summary: Workflow planner for Maintenance Department including Scheduling and Documentation of all Preventative and Corrective Maintenance, Purchase Order planning, tracking KPI and General Administrative Assistance to the Production and Facility Maintenance Department.
Essential Functions:
Track and submit purchase requisitions
Document and ship returns of equipment to vendors (cores, refunds, etc.)
Track and document KPI metrics
Track repair parts ordered and equipment ordered
Negotiate cost quotes of repair parts/supplies with vendors
Continuously improve and enforce the integrity of the vendor base through programmed activities
Identify and investigate opportunities for cost reduction of purchased products, goods, and services and negotiate innovative programs with suppliers to lower cost
Authorizes purchases within budgetary limitations, obtains approvals for purchases beyond personal authorization ceiling as oracle buyer
Communicate with suppliers on frequent basis on order requirements
Ensures 5S procedures are followed
Submit and track Capitol requests
Receive items from vendors into Oracle and physical locations
Provide clerical support when needed such as typing correspondence and other material; preparing graphs and charts, etc.
Assists management in compiling data for special projects and equipment repair history
Convert purchase requests into purchase orders as a buyer
Submit purchase requests to Accounting for capitol acquisitions as a buyer
Work directly with Accounting to correct invoice issues
Train associates as needed on Oracle and Capitol purchase process
Positive support for Safety Programs and ISO/TS Programs
All other duties as assigned
Education:
Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
Experience/Skills/Requirements:
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
High attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Ability to manage time & priorities
Behave in a positive manner that enhances the success of the company
Physical/Ergonomic Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Must have reliable transportation with the ability to travel between facilities
