Project Manager - Cybersecurity

Our client is hiring! We're looking for a Project Manager that is available for a Cybersecurity project.

Role Title: IT Project Manager (Cybersecurity)

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage and coordinate all aspects of cybersecurity projects ensuring .
• The role is crucial in ensuring that cybersecurity projects are executed effectively, aligned with organization goals, and enhance overall security posture of the organization.
• Work closely with cybersecurity, technology, software development, infrastructure, and external vendors to drive project success.
• Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress, making appropriate modifications to meet evolving needs and requirements.
• Manage project scope, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring on-time and within-scope delivery.
• Establish and maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and blockers.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Stay informed with the latest cybersecurity threats and trends, incorporating best practices into project planning and execution.
• Leverage automation, dashboards, and reporting tools to improve visibility into project health and security KPIs.

Qualifications:

• 8 years of experience in a Cybersecurity
• At least 4 years in Project Management roles.
• Strong understanding of Cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience managing projects using tools like Monday.com, and Asana, for project tracking, workflows, and reporting.
• Experience with technical project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, or equivalent).
• Proficiency in project management methodologies: Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects, work under pressure, and resolve blockers proactively.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
• Project Management relevant certification preferred (i.e., PMP)
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or Cybersecurity field
