What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Care Worker - Contract PT position at Night Owl Kids Care, LLC.?
We are seeking professional, engaging, enthusiastic caregivers to provide exceptional childcare services to those ranging in age from infancy to pre-school on a local military base (Ft. Irwin) on Sundays and Tuesdays for a few hours at a time. Must be available to work Sunday and Tuesday shifts. Must be reliable. Shifts for this Part-Time Contract position:
Sundays : 8:30am-10:30am
Tuesdays: 8:15am-11:45am
More shifts may become available
Must present a professional and courteous demeanor toward everyone encountered at all times while at work locations
Must be punctual and reliable
Must be committed to providing exceptional care at all times
Must be 18 years or older
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Must be able to pass a background check (CNACI) completed on post. Upon receiving full clearance and completing all requirements, pay will be increased to $ 25.00 per hour
Must be drug-free
Must be able to speak English proficiently
Must be able to work ecumenically among all faiths and serve within a multi-faith context
Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends, including some holidays
Must agree to comply with all health & safety procedures, protocol, and standards in accordance with Night Owl Kids Care and Army Regulation This is contracted work, less than part-time hours
*Staff are not allowed to bring their own children to work under this contract
Education:
- High school or equivalent
Experience:
- Childcare: 2 years
- License/Certification: Adult, Pediatric CPR /First Aid/AED (required within 30 days of hire)
- Driver's License or other Govt Issued ID (Required)
