We’re seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. You will be responsible for processing weekly payroll accurately and efficiently using Paychex. Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll through Paychex with precision and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with payroll laws and company policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues independently.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Assist with payroll-related reporting as needed.
- Collaborate with HR to manage employee benefits related to payroll deductions.
- Prepare reports on payroll expenditures and assist with financial audits as needed.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Paychex (or similar) payroll processing is mandatory.
- Proven experience in payroll processing or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, identify issues, and implement solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
