About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of something special from the ground up, shaping the future of pediatric care in our area. You will play a vital role in delivering both primary and urgent care services, providing a full spectrum of care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Primary Care: Conduct well-child visits, administer vaccinations, provide preventative care, manage chronic conditions, and educate families on health and wellness.
- Urgent Care: Evaluate and treat children with acute illnesses and injuries, including sick visits, minor injuries, x-ray interpretation (training provided if needed), laceration repairs, and other urgent medical needs.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Provide compassionate and family-centered care.
- Contribute to the growth and success of our practice.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current and valid PNP license in Virginia.
- Spanish-speaking proficiency is strongly preferred and will be given priority.
- Experience in pediatric primary care and/or urgent care is a plus.
- A genuine love for working with children and families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
