About the Role
We’re looking for a sharp, creative, and resourceful Associate Producer to join our production team. You’ll play a central role in crafting compelling interview content, monitoring / giving editing notes, shaping the flow of episodes, scheduling, organizing, and ensuring everything from guest research to post-production runs smoothly. If you are in the know with internet culture, are creative, have a good gut for what works on social media, and love staying ahead of the curve—this might be for you.
Key Responsibilities

Run of Show Development: Collaborate on building and updating the Run of Show for interviews and episodes—ensuring tight structure, flow, and purpose.

Guest Research: Generate smart, engaging, and unique questions tailored to each guest. Curate and compile relevant links, bios, interviews, and past work to brief the team and host.

Information Diet & Current Events: Create an effective information diet for yourself and other co-workers, i.e. a digest of topical news, viral moments, and culturally relevant stories that align with upcoming guests or themes.

AI Fluency: Use AI tools for research, copywriting, editing assistance, or brainstorming—whatever gets the job done smarter.

Vendor & Creative Liaison: Coordinate with editors, designers, sound engineers, and other creatives to keep the production timeline moving forward.

Editing & Feedback: Watch rough cuts and deliver detailed, actionable editing notes with a strong sense of pacing, humor, and tone. Experience cutting compelling social media clips is a bonus.

Social Media Savvy: Assist with social media strategy, including writing captions, suggesting clips, and understanding platform trends (IG, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, X, etc.).

Sense of Humor: Bring a sharp, irreverent, and self-aware sense of humor that fits our show’s culture. Timing and tone matter.
Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in a content, media, or production role

Experience in a podcast, YouTube, or interview-based environment

Experience with editing tools (Premiere, Final Cut, or similar)

Strong writing and communication skills

Up-to-date with social trends, creators, internet culture, and media

Collaborative, curious, and confident enough to take initiative

Calm under pressure and able to pivot when needed
