The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the nursing department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for elder care, a strong leadership and management background, and a commitment to providing quality care to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff
- Ensure that all residents receive the highest quality of care
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Monitor the nursing budget and ensure that resources are used efficiently
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the needs of residents are met
- Represent the nursing department to the administration and to the community
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Current RN license in the state you are working in
- Valid CPR certification
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
