Nightingale at Monticello is currently in search of an MDS Coordinator to join our team. to c onduct and coordinate the development and completion of the resident assessment in accordance with current rules, policies, regulations, and guidelines that govern the resident assessment.
Previous long-term care experience a must

MDS COORDINATOR
Job Responsibilities Include :
Coordinate and complete the RAI process.
Timely submission of MDS files to CMS. Review MDS final validation reports and correct or modify the MDS.
Review all state validation reports for accuracy .
Monitor that the comprehensive care plan is completed according to regulatory requirements.
Maintain the MDS OBRA and PDPM assessment schedules.
Complete Case Mix Group change requests with documentation as needed.
Provide insight and analysis of MDS-based Quality Measures and Quality incentive points.
Audit and improve staff education / competency as needed to ensure accurate and timely completion of supporting documentation and MDS assessments
Qualifications Include :
At Least 2 years experience in Long Term Care as an MDS Coordinator.
Must have integrity, attention to detail, critical-thinking and time-management skills.
Must be knowledgeable of regulations, practice standards and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to the RAI process.
