Educational Requirements/Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited COTA Program
- Current PA State COTA License
- Experience is a plus
Duties are varied and include:
- Measuring & recording Residents’ motor function, strength & muscle performance.
- Assists occupational therapists in developing treatment plans.
- Observe Residents and write progress reports.
- Evaluate the capability of Residents to function independently.
- Assist Residents in carrying out specific exercises.
- Treat Residents with varieties of techniques.
- Help Residents use necessary equipment and devices.
- Educate Residents on how to exercise properly
- Maintain Resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
- Work cooperatively with the Nightingale team.
- Take the extra mile and interact with residents as needed.
