About the Role:
Nightangles List is seeking a licensed clinical social worker for a correctional facility in California. The ideal candidate will be able to provide mental health services to inmates, ensuring their well-being and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose psychiatric disorders, developing effective treatment plans
- Deliver mental health services under the guidance of a senior psychologist or supervising psychiatric social worker
- Participate in crisis interventions, group psychotherapy, and face-to-face interviews
- Document all care provided, including participation in Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IOTT) meetings
Requirements:
- Must hold a current LCSW certification valid in California
- A minimum of 12 continuous months of similar experience within the last 3 years
- Proficiency in English, both oral and written, is mandatory for effective communication and patient care
