As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be responsible for delivering mental health services under the guidance of the Senior Psychologist or Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker. Your duties will include evaluating, diagnosing, and managing psychiatric disorders, as well as participating in crisis interventions, group psychotherapy, and face-to-face interviews.
You will also be responsible for documenting all care provided, including participation in Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IOTT) meetings. Additionally, you will perform mental status exams and review pertinent documents to aid in diagnosis, and facilitate patient transitions within the institution and assist with their pre-release, ensuring their connection to external mental health programs.
