Job Description
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a local contract job in California. The ideal candidate will provide mental health services to inmates, ensuring their well-being and rehabilitation.
The LCSW will work under the guidance of the Senior Psychologist or Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker and deliver mental health services, including crisis interventions, group psychotherapy, and face-to-face interviews.
The selected candidate will participate in Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IOTT) meetings, document all care provided, and perform mental status exams. They will also facilitate patient transitions within the institution and assist with pre-release, ensuring connection to external mental health programs.
- Must hold a current LCSW certification valid in California.
- A minimum of 12 continuous months of similar experience within the last 3 years.
- Proficiency in English, both oral and written, is mandatory for effective communication and patient care.
