Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a current LCSW certification valid in California, a minimum of 12 continuous months of similar experience within the last 3 years, and proficiency in English, both oral and written.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver mental health services under the guidance of senior professionals.
- Evaluate and diagnose psychiatric disorders, developing effective treatment plans.
- Participate in crisis interventions, group therapy sessions, and one-on-one interviews with inmates.
- Document all care provided, including contributions to Interdisciplinary Treatment Teams.
- Conduct mental status exams and review relevant documents to inform diagnoses.
- Facilitate patient transitions within the facility and connect them with external mental health programs.
