Our organization is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide mental health services to inmates at a Correctional Facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring the well-being and rehabilitation of individuals, providing a unique opportunity for growth and development.
The ideal candidate will hold a current LCSW certification valid in California, possess a minimum of 12 continuous months of similar experience within the last 3 years, and be proficient in English, both oral and written.
Responsibilities include delivering mental health services under the guidance of the Senior Psychologist or Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker, evaluating, diagnosing, and managing psychiatric disorders, and participating in crisis interventions and group psychotherapy sessions.
Additionally, the selected individual will document all care provided, perform mental status exams, and review pertinent documents to aid in diagnosis. They will also facilitate patient transitions, maintain safety and security, and comprehend and adhere to CA and CDCR laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
