Job Description
This role is pivotal in providing mental health services to inmates, ensuring their well-being and rehabilitation. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering mental health services under the guidance of the Senior Psychologist or Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose psychiatric disorders, developing effective treatment plans.
- Participate in crisis interventions, group psychotherapy, and face-to-face interviews.
- Document all care provided, including participation in Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IOTT) meetings.
- Maintain safety and security, ensuring proper conduct of inmates to prevent any harm.
Requirements
- Current LCSW certification valid in California.
- Minimum 12 continuous months of similar experience within the last 3 years.
- Proficiency in English, both oral and written.
