Nightingale Senior Care is seeking skilled caregivers who can assist with a full body transfer. Caregiver will help one of our Female clients who both require a full body transfer, the caregivers MUST be experienced with clients needs. They will need to help with all daily living actives including transfers. Join our team of dedicated professionals committed to making a difference in the lives of those we serve!
Female client - Requires full body transfer - Rowland Heights : 2 : 15pm-7 : 15pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday -
Female client- Requires full body transfer- La Habra : 8am-3pm Monday AND Thursday (Flexible with days) -
Requirements :
MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF FULL BODY TRANSFERS -
HCA registration (Home Care Aid)
Live Scan (Criminal Background Check)
TB Test (Tuberculosis Test) or Chest X-RAY
Legally permitted to work in the US
Licensed driver with reliable transportation
Reliable, dependable, compassionate and friendly
Responsibilities :
Mobility assistance and transfers , including heavy lifting
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Patience and empathy
Monitor and document clients' health status and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Assist with activities of daily living including; help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication management, personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming)
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to all safety protocols
Uphold clients rights while providing care, ensuring dignity and respect at all times
Qualifications :
Ability to care for clients who require a full body transfer
Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or related fields is preferred
Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals in need
Strong communication skills and the ability to listen actively
Capability to handle responsibilities efficiently and effectively
Knowledge of memory impairment
Knowledge of resident rights and commitment to upholding them is essential
Skills : Experienced with transfers, Caring personality, Time management, Attentive personality, Personal hygiene assistance, Decision making, Relationship building and Clear communication.
