Nightingale Senior Care is URGENTLY seeking a caregiver to help care for our Male client in Cerritos. We are needing one caregiver Monday through Friday from 8 : 30AM-4 : 30PM, rate varies from ($20-22) an hour. Care needs; standby assistance, personal care and comfortable driving client.
Previous experience in caring for seniors with Heart Disease, Stroke, Depression preferred for this case -
Requirements :
MUST HAVE 2 YEARS OF SENIOR CARE EXPERIANCE -
CAREGIVER MUST BE COMFOTABLE DRIVING AND HELP RUN ERRANDS -
HCA REGISTRATION (HOME CARE AIDE) -
LIVE SCAN (CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK)
TB TEST (TUBERCULOSIS TEST ) or CHEST X-RAY
LEGALLY PERMITTED TO WORK IN THE USA
LICENSED DRIVER WITH RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
RELIABLE, DEPENDABLE, COMPASSIONATE AND FRIENDLY
Responsibilities :
Monitor and document clients' health status and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Patience and empathy
Assist with activities of daily living including; help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication management, personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming)
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to all safety protocols
Uphold clients rights while providing care, ensuring dignity and respect at all times
Qualifications :
Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or related fields is preferred
Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals in need
Strong communication skills and the ability to listen actively
Capability to handle responsibilities efficiently and effectively
Knowledge of memory impairment
Knowledge of resident rights and commitment to upholding them is essential
