Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and knowledgeable Private Homecare Manager to oversee and coordinate personalized homecare services for clients in their private residence. The ideal candidate will have expertise in client prospecting, Medicaid processes, and community-based support programs such as CCSP (Community Care Services Program), SOURCE, and ICWP (Independent Care Waiver Program). This role involves managing homecare staff, coordinating and ensuring the highest quality of care and compliance with homecare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Care Coordination & Compliance: Develop and oversee personalized care plans in alignment with Medicaid guidelines, CCSP, SOURCE, and ICWP program requirements.
- Client Prospecting & Enrollment: Identify and enroll eligible clients in homecare programs, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Medicaid & Insurance Navigation: Assist with Medicaid applications, renewals, and claims processing while maintaining compliance with program regulations.
- Staff Supervision & Training: Recruit, train, and manage homecare aides, nurses, and support staff to ensure high-quality care delivery.
- Scheduling & Logistics: Coordinate medical appointments, therapy sessions, caregiver schedules, and transportation services.
- Regulatory & Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with state homecare laws, safety protocols, and program-specific requirements.
- Patient Advocacy: Act as a liaison between clients, families, medical professionals, and government agencies to facilitate access to care and benefits.
- Financial Oversight: Manage healthcare budgets, billing, and financial documentation related to Medicaid and waiver programs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: High School GED or above (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 years in homecare management, Medicaid navigation, or case management.
- Knowledge & Expertise:
- Strong understanding of Medicaid processes, CCSP, SOURCE, and ICWP programs.
- Experience with client prospecting and enrollment in homecare programs.
- Familiarity with state and federal homecare regulations.
- Certifications: Applicable certifications accepted.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and advocacy skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and Medicaid management software.
