Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Bouncer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patrons. As a Bouncer, you will be responsible for enforcing venue policies, managing crowd control, and ensuring the safety of all guests. This position requires strong conflict management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Duties
- Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized individuals gain access to the venue.
- Conduct regular surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems to identify potential security threats.
- Manage crowd control during peak hours, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.
- Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances, utilizing conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations.
- Enforce venue policies regarding behavior, dress code, and age restrictions.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary and maintain CPR certification for emergencies.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when required and assist in loss prevention efforts.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with patrons, staff, and security personnel.
Requirements
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in conflict management or similar training is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies is an advantage.
- CPR and First Aid certification are essential; candidates should be prepared to provide proof of certification.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Must be physically fit, capable of standing for extended periods, and able to handle potentially challenging situations calmly and professionally.
