NightRider Janitorial Company, a locally owned commercial cleaning business, is seeking an experienced and professional Floor Cleaning Technician. This role is focused on commercial floor care, including stripping and waxing VCT floors and carpet cleaning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strip, wax, and maintain VCT floors.
• Perform professional carpet cleaning and maintenance.
• Operate floor care equipment (buffers, carpet extractors, etc.).
• Maintain cleaning equipment in proper working order.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Follow all company safety protocols.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in commercial floor care.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, particularly with VCT and carpet.
• Mechanically inclined and capable of maintaining equipment.
• Valid New York State driver’s license (mandatory).
• Reliable transportation to and from work (not accessible by public transit).
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Available for an 8-hour shift Monday through Friday, with flexibility for weekends as needed.
