Position Summary:
The North America Marketing Operations Manager will play a key role in brand partnerships, supplier sourcing, PR & media relations, and market intelligence to support business expansion. The ideal candidate has experience in marketing, brand licensing, and strategic partnerships within industries such as fashion, FMCG, lifestyle, and consumer goods industries.
This role requires a strong network of media, PR agencies, advertising, and brand licensing to enhance brand visibility and execute high-impact campaigns in North America. The candidate will also be responsible for monitoring industry trends, sourcing top-tier brand collaborations, and participating in key industry events.
Responsibilities:
- Brand Partnerships & Vendor Collaboration:
- Establish and manage relationships with leading U.S. brand licensors, creative agencies, marketing firms, and PR agencies to support branding and promotional efforts.
- Identify and onboard premium local vendors for brand collaborations, including fashion, content production, and influencer marketing partners.
- Secure competitive partnerships for media production, advertising, PR, and influencer collaborations.
- PR, Media & Event Marketing:
- Develop and execute PR strategies in collaboration with leading fashion and lifestyle media partners.
- Manage relationships with advertising firms, influencers, and public relations agencies to maximize brand exposure.
- Represent the brand at industry forums, panel discussions, media events, and podcasts to establish credibility in the U.S. market.
- Marketing Campaigns & Event Execution:
- Support the planning and execution of brand-led activations such as pop-up events, influencer activations, retail experiences, and charity initiatives.
- Align U.S. marketing campaigns with global brand strategies, ensuring messaging and positioning are culturally relevant.
- Market Intelligence & Competitive Research:
- Monitor industry trends to identify emerging brand collaborations, licensing opportunities, and successful marketing campaigns in North America.
- Provide data-driven insights to the headquarters team for strategic planning and execution.
- Track popular consumer trends, brand opportunities, and marketing campaigns to help refine U.S. market strategies.
Requirements:
- Experience & Skills:
- 5 years of experience in marketing operations, brand partnerships, PR, or media strategy within industries such as apparel, FMCG, or technology brands.
- Experience in managing brand marketing strategies, PR campaigns, and influencer partnerships
- Proven ability to develop relationships with marketing service providers, advertising firms, and content production teams.
- Strong industry connections with PR agencies, media partners, and brand licensing networks.
- Demonstrated experience independently managing and scaling brands in new markets.
- Language & Communication:
- English. Chinese a plus.
- Strong ability to negotiate with partners, present strategies, and represent the brand in industry events.
