Job Overview

The Business / Requirements Analyst will be the bridge between our customers and our medical Salesforce application development team. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering detailed business requirements, validating acceptance criteria, and translating customer needs into comprehensive development stories using Jira. Post-development, you will also play a vital role in both manual and automated testing to ensure every application feature meets the criteria documented and intended outcomes are achieved. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver reliable, data-driven solutions streamline operational processes within the healthcare domain.

Key Responsibilities

TS/SCI with Polygraph Required Day 1

Customer & Stakeholder Communication

• Facilitate Open Dialogues: Lead and nurture open conversations with the Product Owner, Product Line Manager, and customer management to ensure everyone is aligned with project goals.
• Information Dissemination: Clearly and effectively communicate project updates and necessary technical details to development teams, ensuring transparency at all stages.
  
  

Requirements Elicitation & Documentation

• Deep-Dive Interviews: Proactively interview stakeholders and end users to gather comprehensive insights and ask probing questions that uncover hidden or implicit requirements.
• Documentation Excellence: Record, consolidate, and share requirements in a concise manner, ensuring that both technical and non-technical teams have access to, and can easily understand, the documented requirements.
• User Story Creation: Transform requirements into clear, actionable development stories and acceptance criteria in Jira, ensuring each story is ready for the development phase.
  
  

Analysis & Solution Validation

• Data-Driven Analysis: Evaluate requirements with an analytical eye, identifying trends and data points that can inform the development of robust, scalable solutions.
• Requirement Review: Work collaboratively with stakeholders to vet and validate acceptance criteria, ensuring that the documented requirements reflect both business needs and technical feasibility.
• Continuous Improvement: Leverage insights from testing and stakeholder feedback to continuously refine and improve both the product features and the requirement gathering process.

• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective dialogue between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to break down complex data and business processes into actionable insights.
• Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving capabilities with a systematic approach to diagnosing issues and proposing measurable solutions.
• Requirements Writing & Review: Expertise in eliciting detailed requirements, analyzing business data, and drafting clear, concise documentation.
• Workflow & Process Modelling: Proficiency in designing flow and process diagrams, as well as creating wireframes to visually communicate requirements and potential solutions.
  
  

Technical Skills & Knowledge

• Salesforce Platform Familiarity
• Automation & Collaboration: Basic knowledge of Salesforce automation tools and collaborative features.
• Data Management: Understanding of data management practices within Salesforce.
• Reports & Dashboards: Ability to interpret and create reports/dashboards, particularly within the Health Cloud and Experience Cloud environments.
• Jira Expertise: Experience using Jira for writing user stories, managing backlogs, and tracking development progress.
• Testing Methodologies: Understanding of both manual and automated testing techniques to ensure application quality.
  
  

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Salesforce Certifications (Preferred): Certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Platform App Builder will be a plus, showcasing your commitment to understanding the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Experience: Prior experience working on enterprise-level or healthcare-related projects is highly beneficial.
